About Emily
I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in individuals, for adolescents through adulthood. After graduating from Villanova University, I taught in a middle school on the Lower East Side of Manhattan for several years. I earned my Masters in Social Work from Fordham University in 2010. For several years, I worked as a therapist in schools, including middle and high schools.
Currently, I work with adolescents through adults. I am passionate about the potential for growth, change and connection within the therapeutic relationship. I meet with a wide variety of clients, including those with anxiety, depression, grief, those suffering from traumatic relationships, anger management and self esteem. I utilize various modalities to ensure that each person receives the therapy that they need. My approach is relational and also based on attachment theory. I love using the tools of AEDP, EMDR and parts work to help clients learn to feel and find a path to their best selves.
We are all navigating a winding road, I am here to guide and support clients on this path.
